Don't know if this is the exact right place for this but don't forget we've got playoff hockey right here in the metroplex. Allen Americans vs Texas Brahmas and then we've got the Texas Tornado going after the Robertson Cup (hosting that series as well).

I'm a big Tornado fan so I'll be going to a bunch of those games.

Will be fine for here right now. Next season, gonna start a Texas Hockey thread so all these minor league teams in the state can be talked. Should start building this place up to be a place where all fans of Texas hockey can come and talk.

Edit: Actually will start it now.

Why is it Tornado, not Tornadoes? I've never understood that.

Like the Connecticut Whale. Just sounds stupid, personally.

He's got some incredible movement.

He's been damn good since the 2nd inning, he's getting hardcore squeezed by the ump too, 4IP, 3H, 1 BB, 2K, 1 ER, 57 pitches is his line from the 2nd on

this made me lol

"North Texas first bowl appearance in program history came at the 1946 Optimist Bowl in Houston, Texas against the College of the Pacific. The Eagles, who most of you know won the game, were only able to amass 94 yards of offense on their way to the 14-13 victory over Pacific. Ned McNeil led the scoring off with a 58-yard interception return in the second quarter, but the Eagles saw Pacific come back in the second half, scoring two straight touchdowns, but missing the last extra point. After losing starting quarterback Fred McCain in the first quarter after he was ejected for fighting, North Texas stormed down the field on the final drive for the go ahead score. The Eagles gained 67 of its 94 total yards on the final drive and scored on a nine-yard TD reception by Louis Reinzi from Billy Dinkle with nine seconds left. Dinkle would then boot through the extra point to give North Texas the lead and ultimately the win."

Major lols.
