My pick would be Brendan Gallagher- he leads by example - if they all played like him we'd still be in the Playoffs :yo::hockey:

Tons of captain threads.

Does anyone ever use the search function?

Oh wait ... we don't need it. Leave that for Captain Obvious. :sarcasm:

This thread is about a month too early, we don't even now who's going or staying. It could very well still be Gionta, (cross fingers he's not).

If Gionta is gone, it will likely be Gorges. As a fan with no knowledge of what goes on in the locker room, I'd like to see Subban get the C.

C - Plekanec
A - Gorges
A - Gallagher
A - Subban

Some teams have 4 assistant captains, so it doesn't hurt for us to have 3.

It'll probably be Gorges, but I think it should be PK. He's obviously the leader, imo, at least on the ice.

Pleks, by a mile.

If it's Gorges I will be...annoyed.

But they would choose the chattiest of chatty locker room guys, so yeah, it would go to Gorges.

Sidenote: If anyone ever asks what a Canadian accent is, I would suggest to youtube any Gorges scrum speech.

Subban carried the team in the playoffs with great leadership... the C is his to win and to lose.
