You mean 5? The Bruins don't count. Also, note the use of word conservatively, so I'm thinking 4-5 teams.

Pens, Hawks, Ducks, Caps are my submission. These are his peers age-wise and they are in place with Cup rings as Captain. IMO, he doesn't replace any of Toews, Getzlaf, Crosby or Ovechkin as captain if he landed on any of those teams. He probably doesn't get named captain ahead of any of them had he begun there, although I suppose its possible in Chicago because of the slight age difference. Then there is someone like McDavid who is the best and the present and future in Edmonton.
I do think 25 is the proper neighborhood.

It's so obviously Bergeron that this is just a silly question to even ask.

Ya, it's a strange question as it's automatically Bergeron who's essentially been co-captain for a decade. What's even sillier, is that on the off-chance Bergeron didn't want the C, it would go to Krejci - whom isn't listed.
