If Boston fans were complaining on the main board GDT I could see us getting annoyed. But peeking in on their board and getting offended by what offends them? I don't get it. Aren't extreme, sometimes irrational homer takes what home boards are for?
Yep, plus we complain plenty about the refs here at times too. After all NHL officials are pretty incompetent.

I don't think anyone was offended. But I totally agree with the last sentence.

While I do agree, it’s hard not to lol at analysis like:

Canes are like the Flyers teams of the 70's, they commit an untold amount of infractions and know the refs will only call so many especially with the incessant whiner Brind'Amour in their ear every night.”

Imagine being a Boston Bruins fan and having the audacity to publish this take.

5 min later: “ridiculous call against us, refs trying to give this game away.”

Irony of complaining about complaining and then complaining about the same thing you’re complaining about complaining about is very funny.

Alanis' producer made her cut this bit. They couldn't go up to the Stairway to Heaven length because of the radio.

Bruins fans have had their minds warped by years of listening to Jack Edwards. I gave up any hope of having a rational conversation with them after Krejci grabbed the puck out of the air, tossed it down the ice, and went on to set up a goal. He quite clearly closed his hand on the puck, but Bruins fans were adamant that he just batted the puck down the ice instead of just admitting that their guys got away with one.

Oh god, I remember this thread. We got down to frame by frame analysis of him throwing the puck like 15 feet and it was still being argued as a “drop”. Wild times.

That was me, back when I occasionally visited the main boards but didn't seem welcome on this one after I suggested a Faulk for RNH trade, lol. Spent way more time on the Krejci play than I should have :)

I enjoyed the part where someone started arguing a very specific point that the puck, not the player, had to be located in the neutral zone at the time of the pass in order for it to be illegal.

And then it turned out the replay showed the player was in the d-zone, but the puck was in the neutral zone when it was released.

Meaning he had been arguing the opposite of what he meant to that whole time.

I was only able to watch the third period for this one. What is interesting though is the teams have traded fates, it feels like. Meaning, in 2019 and 2020, the Bruins were our big brother constantly pulling our ear and bullying us. We had no answer. The past couple of years it has been the opposite. Both teams have been close-ish to even in terms of playing each other and in the standings; both great teams these past 5 years. However, now it just feels like the Canes are destined to beat the Bruins. You felt it when Martinook scored. But more importantly, I don't think the Canes players got worried when Boston tied the game at 2-2 two nights ago. We beat the Bruins in a 7 game series, and have kind of owned them since, despite them being still an absolutely elite team.

The craziest part about Wednesday's game is that we essentially won from our special teams and goaltending. Something a Hurricanes fan hasn't said since, well, ever.
