voted for never just because it's annoying how often people whine about it and it would be funny

Sens in 3-5 years.
If they have solid ownership, this would be my guess. Once they are ready to compete, will need a veteran solid coach. Nobody inexperienced.

Other than Ottawa, I don't see another canadian team winning soon.

Toronto is Toronto

Edmonton is likely to lose at least one of McDrai. Not even getting into D and goaltending.

Winnipeg is nearing time to rebuild. They are currently in purgatory.

Vancouver and Calgary are a mess

Montreal is probably going to be good before we know it. But they still don't have many great pieces. Suzuki would normally be a #2 C on most cup contenders.

Think McDavid+Drai will lead the Oilers to one, simply what great players usually do with very few expections. That said the fact that they didn't this year is abit disheartening(if you wan't them to) since all the stars seemed to align after round #1.

If they don't it could take very many years since I don't see any other Canadian franchise as a top contender in the near future(and I certainly don't see Oilers being one once they decline, of course they always get #1 pick in generational draft years so who knows), I did believe in Toronto the last 2-3 years but they have finally convinced me not to.

If Quebec gets Arizona’s team I think probably them. Kinda justice for Colorado winning with their last team. All that draft capital Arizona has will turn into something special.

I think the Oilers find a way to get it done once in the next 5 years due to McDrai. I don't ever see them becoming good enough to be a dynasty level type team, but having an all time great in McDavid and a superstar in Draisaitl should at minimum cause them to stumble backwards into a cup.

As a Hawks fan I don't really care that much but went with option 2/within the next 5 years because if I'm voting on when a team other than my own should win a cup, it might as well be when my team sucks and is in a rebuild.

I personally don’t understand why Canadians won’t cheer on a different Canadian team if they reach a SCF. To break this streak is already a sufficient reason

Why would a New Yorker cheer for a california team?

I voted next 10 years but it won't be the laughs or coilers like some canadians seem to be expecting

As long as Bettman is in charge, no canadian teams will win a cup, i hope he retired soon.

Wasn’t Bettman in charge when the 1993 Canadiens won?
Don't bring facts in here.
