I don't think it was intentional, but who cares anyway. Hansen's a plug, not like Vancouver will really miss him. Not that he deserves a suspension, he was just trying to glove the puck as far as I could tell.

But again, it barely matters. What's far more important is how Hossa's doing.

@JoshRimerHockey: Been told to expect that Jannik Hansen will have a hearing at some point for his head shot to Hossa! NHL looking at it now.

Hansen is literally the heart that makes this team GO.
We would certainly miss him if there is any sort of consequence.

I don't see any apparent intention, and nobody can say otherwise, thus, no further discipline.

Good game, y'all. Sorry Hoss is injured. Hopefully nothing serious.

I think it's safe to assume it's a concussion at this point.

How long he'll be out is another story.

It was a disgusting cheap shot...I'll be very upset if there isn't a suspension

Maybe that's why they really haven't been going.

Not sure if Q got an update or not, but he was smiling and seemed chipper (more than normal) after the game. Hopefully Hoss was held out for precautionary reasons.

If hes trying to catch the puck why is his arm going towards Hossas head and not up towards the puck. He knew what he was doing and made it look unintentional.

Suspension hearings can't take place for 48 hours, hawks don't play until Friday. They won't tip off if Hossa is hurt or not
