bunting bled 5v5 goals and provided little help 5v5 scoring either. We were going to have to cover him in the playoffs.

Necas and KK havent been great defensively this year but they both still have above 50% xG percentages. Bunting was our only regular playing guy where the expected and actual G% were below 50%.

I liked Bunting.

I did too but he didn't move the needle enough for me so to say as a UFA signing in a time where a "splash" was needed. Kinda reminded me of Ferland but those players have short primes.

I'm hoping we get 2017 Guentzel, we'll see.
