This isn't the first game the Caps have played in Canada on a Saturday night. Much of the time it turns into a homer screwjob.

You can call it blame when the game isn't even decided if you want. I call it being aware of history.

Any chance they might move these 'throwback/retro' uniforms to their 'official' ones if the fans request them enough?

It seems all Caps fans prefer these over their current ones.

Its just a guess but I think the long term plan is to do just that. bring back the white retro as the primary road matched with the retro road as the primary home. then introduce a new alternate. Its how you keep merch sales up

I would also guess that they are doing a lot of market research with their fan base to see which they like best. They can only sell so many Ov 8 sweaters in one style
