Is there a possibility that someone can upload a game with the 80's Oilers? I've only been following hockey since the end of 90's, and therefore it would be a real pleasure to watch Gretzky, Kurri, Coffey, Fuhr etc. in their prime.

Does anyone have the game of CSSR vs CCCP in 1969 World Championships in Sweden. They played a double-round robin in those days and the team with the most points was the winner.

I know that the CSSR beat the USSR in one game, maybe 3-2. What I remember most is watching it a week later or at least highlights on CTV Wide World of Sports and it was a VERY emotional game for the Czechoslovaks. The first game after the Soviet invasion of 1968.

It was a fierce battle and lots of blood on the ice.

CSSR beat the Soviets twice*, by scores of 2-0 and 4-3. No, I don't have the game(s) and I don't know if there are any, er, copies around. The Canada Cup '76 DVD set has some (very little) footage of one of the games, if I remember correctly.

* I think the only time Czechoslovakia managed to do that (at least in the 60s-80s). The Czechs beat USSR in the World Championships quite often in the Seventies, but not twice.

Thanks for the videos Thornton_19! Watched the 1972 Summit Series one, 'twas great.

I was wondering, do you have any videos of the Dynasty Isles? It would be much appreciated, as I haven't ever really seen much of those teams, aside from some highlights. Thanks a bunch, regardless!

I was referring to the video that was primarily interviews and Phil Esposito talking about how it got personal after the Vancouver booing incident, how the Canadian's were positive that their hotel rooms were bugged, and how boring he found ballet . Anyways, I'll probably check out the '74 Summit one too, along with a lot of the other ones at some point. And thanks again for looking into the Islanders videos.

Thank you Thornton. Just watched all 3 periods. Amazing Canadian talent & speed on a team with an average age of plus 30.

Thank you so much, Thornton_19, I will be spending a lot of my spare time in the next few days viewing some of these glorious testaments to old-time hockey.

Just wanted to thank you again Thornton.

I'm in the middle of the Blackhawks-Red Wings game right now - it's great how they left the intermission in that included the interview with Syd Howe.
