yeah well if I gotta choose a winger or defenseman I'm taking the franchise defenseman.

Habs just need management who knows how to build a team. And a coach who isn't allergic to offense either. Julien is so much better than Therrien, but his history isn't clean with the whole Seguin thing.

I think I'd put them in order like this:

like if the Habs somehow ended up getting #1 overall this year and there was some top center available along with Dahlin, I'd go with the center. But there isn't and the option between Dahlin and Svechnikov is Dahlin by default because he's in a key position you build around.

It’s possible but I think they’re better than Edmonton ever was pre-McDavid.

I just don’t think they’re better than St. Louis, Minnesota, Chicago, Nashville, or maybe even Dallas (although that’s close).

Dallas is another one that I think got overhyped although there was better reasons for them with adding Bishop and Hitch.
