- Sergei Bobrovsky - big bounce back season with Florida in the NHL, in line for a ratings boost next season
- Colin Miller - expiring contract, solid addition for a bottom pairing, injury insurance/depth
- Joe Thornton - expiring contract, elite level experience and leadership ratings (both 99) for teams making a run at The Cup, and still capable ratings to contribute (77PA, 60SC)
- Luke Schenn - cheap D depth on an expiring contract
