The NHL needs to nullify offside reviews based on time when the puck enters the zone. Maybe 10-15 seconds after the puck enters then offside doesn't matter.

You don't see the NFL nullify a TD based on a missed call earlier in the drive. I'm all for video reviews of offside directly leading to a goal. Once the offense sets up and the zone entry is irrelevant to the play at hand then goals shouldn't be taken away based on a previous linesman error.

Again, they seem to be doing ok.

Right but there's a clear difference between a flag that is throwing during the play that is then announced after and a situation where a goal is scored that everyone on the field/ice believes it's good and then a video guy saying that actually 30 seconds earlier there was a fractional offside.

The change was fine. The issue was the dman skating the puck straight into it instead of chipping it high or just stopping for a second.
