Low key wishing my wife got her medical fellowship in Toronto so I could go to the HHOF all the time.

Alas...maybe one year I will get to go on a visit. (Yes, I know, very selfish of me)
Is there an official 2023 Hall of Fame thread? Anywhere?
This is it, I guess.

Since this is going to be the Lundqvist HHOF thread, here is some oldie but goodies:

Here is a reddit comment, but here is the text if you don't want to click the link:

I’m glad there’s a thread for Hank’s induction. Was able to see Jeter and Mo from their first game to the HOF and now same with Lundqvist. Amazing career from the 7th round to superstardom to NHL immortal.

It was great hear we might have a good one coming. Then the game by game updates in the lockout season. Finally his arrival for the 2005 training camp. All here on HFNYR.

The 2015 Caps/Rangers series was SO good. The Holtby/Lundqvist duel was....in short...incredible. Two goalies at the peak of their abilities just having a go at each other.

Obviously Stepan's goal is ingrained into the minds of every Rangers fan who witnessed that series, but like...that series was just an incredible display of goaltending of two good teams.

Most important goal in that series was the Kreider goal game 5 with 100 seconds left. If he doesn't score there we lose the series in 5. Holtby gave up a stinker there.

HHOF weekend is already a success, being lucky enough to pick up this game-issued Legends game jersey!

I want what I want
I hear his farts smell like wild bee honey.
For anybody that doesn't believe this, it's true. The story goes that Henrik once saved a honey bee colony from a swarm of murder hornets with his bare hands and nursed them back to health.

In gratitude they wed him to their queen, hence becoming the one and only King of a bee colony. This honor thus bequeathed to him the power of sweet sweet honey farts.

All hail King Henrik.

I believe they're gonna introduce Hank soon at this Leafs-Flames pregame ceremony

Edit: Michael Nylander bowed. Seriously.

Hank did the ceremonial puck drop for Tavares and Backlund.

I just think it’s a shame that Hank had to share the HHOF spotlight with Barasso and Vernon; neither of whom (as good or not as they were) could lace Hank’s skates. Maybe I’m the only one bothered by it though

No, it bugged me a bit too. Hank is a different tier of HOFer, and I wish there had been some way for them to recognize that.
