A #1 WR is much easier for a message board GM to spot because even they can look at stats, sort by most receiving yards or most receiving touchdowns and have a pretty accurate list. Those absolutes aren't found when looking at +/-, goals, and assists sprinkled in with a post game bar graph yet people still try to use those to make definitive statements.

Wasn't even really the argument. Was just stating that people argue about low end WR2. High end WR3. Elite WR1. Decent WR1.

Certainly easier to understand than hockey but its still the same exact function.
