That's a pretty inaccurate statement considering about two thirds of that ice time was after the fight (which happened ten minutes into the first period).

Is it now?

How's the word "benched" is not accurate for a D playing ~4 minutes after he got into a fight half way through the 1st period? :shakehead

He wasn't going to play a lot more than that anyway. Let's be honest Tinordi is not good, he's our 8th D and our defense is not the best.

15:31 for his first game, 17:28 for his 2nd...

Please, let's not pretend the coach actually have a clue here.

Well Desharnais has 1 point in the last 374 games, so sitting Tinordi for defending a teammate makes sense.

Habs win tonight 6-2, Patches with the hat-trick. If I'm wrong, I won't post for a month. Not ready to throw away the parade route map just yet

You don't have to. We can throw a parade when we draft Auston Matthews.

He'll look great beside Desharnais and Pacioretty in 4 years when he learns to be a better person. That way, he won't complain when they never pass him the puck!

Gotta get Barbario in there vs. his old team. A Therrien "gut feeling," I'm sure.

You can never, ever take out Paul Byron. He's the key to success.

With all this trade 'hype' , the posters forgot about the GDT.

Yes folks, we actually have a game to play tonight!

Nah I think its more related to how much interest Habs lost by their play in December. Lightning will likely light Habs up.

He's the backup tonight, He'll start against the Panthers tomorrow.

Habs are playing the odds...Scrivens has had two career starts at
the BB&T Center ...never gave up 1 goal yet.....2 shutouts

In Tampa he got a 4.19 goals against avg/ 775 save %
