This signing is quite beneficial in several ways. Either this pushes Lindgren to be better
hopefully it pushes Price to be better
why do you say that?Another regrettable move by Bergevin.
Gota give it to you... You're Price hate is extremely stronb and unwavering. Felt the same way about Latendress for a while hahahopefully it pushes Price to be better
Maybe they want Niemi to teach Carey how to win a Stanley Cup
He will suck super hard this year.good tank move.

Makes Lindgren decent trade bait. Could be a nice addition to a Pacioretty in a Center deal.
He definitely has some trade value.Lindgren has no trade value ..

Isn't that what the Pens got for Condon? Or was it a 3rd?like a 5th pick ..
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If a team like Carolina likes him and thinks he could potentially start next year (albeit with veteran competition) he could be added to a Pacioretty and would help sweeten the return.like a 5th pick ..

Doubt it. Just insurance policy. Bergevin does not want another Price-Condon situation.
Lindgren isn't a proven prospect yet that can be counted if Price goes down for a significant amount of time. Given the terrible season we just had, and the other one 2 years prior, Bergevin doesn't want to repeat that same mistake.
