If you're trading top 3 picks, can you really call it a rebuild? Sounds like a rush job because Bergevin is feeling the heat.

Not sure how Habs fans feel, but Bergevin gives me the same confidence in fixing that mess as Vancouver's management.... which is zilch.

We don't feel like it can be done and as you mentioned we all pretty much think that he will make a few moves to try and get us back to being a contender ASAP
However we don't think he is stupid enough to actually trade that pick
Maybe the 2nd round picks he might trade

Exactly, it will all depend on if the head scout and GM can be swayed. Personally from talking to one of their amateur scouts it seems its Svech or trade the pick (much to his chagrin)

Except it doesn’t address any of Montreal’s needs. Baertschi isn’t an improvement on Montreal’s left wing. Montreal has Weber and Petry as their top 2 RHD.

Montreal needs a 1C and 2C. And a puck moving LDH. This proposal ignores their needs altogether. Baertschi and Tanev are this years Raymind, Ballard and 2nd
