Better than just throwing it in the sewers. I like that they do the Montreal/Stockholm combine. Especially with goalies ( e.g. Harvey) you never know. Also might help us get some AHL depth this year (and not rely on bad/weird try-outs).

Steve Quailer doesn't belong in that discussion. He actually had a similar pedigree coming out of the USHL as Patches.

The combine in Montreal Habs invited 27 players who were NOT at the NHL combine last weekend...

These 27 players invited are guys who might go undrafted ....there looking for a diamond in the rough kinda thing...

Probably, since Ottawa invited Zadina to their city I thought the Habs would do the same.
