Out of the short term fixes, I think Byron is the best choice to play on chucky's line if Semin isn't going to play.

Right now chucky is his own worst enemy. If he can't make good decisions, it doesn't matter who he's playing with.

and that's the problem right there, there's no reason not to play Semin if the best you can do is Byron.
