Gotta win this one no matter what...could be the game that decides our QF fate...we might make it even if we lose to SUI tomorrow, but if we don´t win today...

Mezin left Belarus national team!
I don't know anything about background but this easily hurts Belarus team in the locker-room.

hopefully, koval is fit enough to play for that selfish guy whose best times are now in the past. anyways, this whole situation does not alter the fact that mezin is the living legend of the belarusian hockey :yo:

Yeah Mezin was/is great goalie, Koval is more than capable. As I've said, this is not the question of the next goalie performance, this is about locker-room.

Not really. We have to beat SUI to be for sure in QF.

Bcs, when SUI will defeat us and we will win against Belarus and France, we will have 12 points.
SUI have 6, +3 points from us and they need just one more win. They will play France and USA, if they will defeat France and lost to USA (thats the worst scenario for us, but it can happen), Slovakia will be on 5th place. (Golf ftw)

We can have still chance, that USA will lost also to SUI, so they will end up on 10 points.

Do actually Belarussians want to win this game? Their effort in their defensive zone is terrible. Their are constantly outplayed by Radivojevic - Handzus - Kopecky line. I mean three 3rd line grinders by definition. Mikus plays a good game.

While Mikúš has not managed to translate his pre-WC scoring into the tourney, I think he has been really great deffensively so far in the tourney.

Better shift the next gear soon. Second part of the game Slovaks played very good in neutral and defensive zone. Slowed down a little in offensive zone.
EDIT: I mean during this game.
