Not sure I can agree with the not motivated analysis. They were dominating the entire 1st period. Belarus took advantage of the 1 chance they had in the period and then scored on a PP to start the 2nd period.

Koval is playing with back problems, they showed during the intermission how he was struggling to get up on his feet.

So eventually US will win this, he is looking so slow out there.
