I was speaking in general terms. This team is so good, still many of these players would not make the team had the WC been played after the SC finals. No other team is even close to having the same depth.

Canada isn't the Oilers though, this roster contains 6 players players who were on the 2015 and 2016 championship teams along with the 2017 silver runners up. Have to think that experience will help.

Latvia loves some beatdowns it seems. Finland also played them at Latvia for two games two weeks ago or so and the results were 3-0 and 5-0 for Finland. Interesting that Latvia wants to play all the 3 top countries of it's group which roster wise are way superior to Latvia.

Should be a fairly even game, if there's one standout weakness its Canada's goaltending, just brutal this year.
