I don't care about the result. All I want is the best game of the tournament from my team. Must be 120% effort tonight, because this is THE big chance.

Come on Czech Republic, give'm a good ride.

I imagine the USA will be flying out of the gates in the early going in this one. If Mrazek can play like he did against Canada, the Czechs have a good shot in this game.

Think it will be a low scoring game, U.S doesn't have the scoring or defence that they had last year, they win by one goal

I think the U.S. will really wake up this game and take it to the Czechs. I could see 6-1 USA.

I don't know why everybody is making a big deal about the Canadian crowd cheering "against" the USA. Everybody loves an underdog.

I don't mind it all, personally I think the cheering is great but booing a bunch of kids when they aren't even playing Canada is a bit too much.

Pribyl is nowhere on the lineup -- I assume he's scratched?

If you are a Czech fan, what you want is obvious...

- A win in regulation puts you into the playoffs.

- A win or loss in OT means you need to control your own fate - a win against the Fins becomes a must.

- A loss in regulation is not devastating as long as the score is very close (no more than 1 goal) because point differential between the US/Fins/Czechs may come into play. You would also need to beat the Fins in regulation.

- Worst case scenario... the U.S. wins by 2 or more goals.

Yes, I expect maximum effort from the U.S. today but their defense is very very scary and I don't mean in a good way! This Czech team has the skill to burn the U.S. dmen and it has the size on the back-end to shut down the high flying American forwards......I am very apprehensive about this game but it will go a long way in telling us if this U.S. team is a legit contender or not.

Hope for a big win from the Czech's today. If they win it'll be interesting to see which team doesn't make the quarters.

Doesn't bother me at all. I know why it is being done and don't believe any of the other excuses that Canadians make.
Canada roots against and boos at the USA team no matter if favorite or if they are the underdog. You must have missed Swe/US games over the last few years where US was not the fave.

Haha, those are two pretty much even hockey teams..

This is going to be a good game. Both teams are good and will be eager for redemption.

Prediction is 3-2 USA.

The big question whether USA gets complacent and starts focusing more on tomorrow's game than today's game.
