So easy to predict a slow start for U.S. and then putting it together late. (they seem to do that often)
I think U.S. comes out quick and scores a few in the first period. US wins 5-2

Anyone besides Jensen to look for on Denmark?

Nicolai Meyer; Had 12points in 5games at the WJC-20 D1 when Denmark won promotion to this years tournament. Very shifty player with great technique and speed. Does however tend to disappear from time to time.

The entire 2-line with Spelling and x2 Bjorkstrand. They play regularly on the same line for Herning in the danish mens league. 2x Bjorkstrand are the sons of Headcoach Todd Bjorkstrand. Oliver Bjorkstrand is just 16yoa.

Mads Eller; Is the younger brother of Montreal Canadiens Lars Eller. Also just 16yoa, but very tenacious and great compete level.

Mathias Bau Hansen; Has been one of the few positives in the warmup matches. But is probably also one of the few with the size and style of play that suits the small surface.

It looks like Nick Bjugstad will be ready to go for this game.

5-2 is a bit too generous i think.

in any case I'll be cheering for the Danes (and yes I am an American. call me a traitor if you wish)

Austin Watson, Austin Watson...sounds like an adult film star...or a secret spy...or a wrestler...or a silent film star...there's something about that name, and I like it.

This game is not going to be close, Denmark will be totally overmatched in every round robin game this year, unfortunately for them they got put in the tough group.

I predict USA wins 9-0

USA with a 5+ win, Denmark is gonna have a hard time scoring against the best goalie tandem in the tournament, and unless Denmark get the 1-3-1 rolling properly, they are gonna have a hard time keeping the US off the score sheet.
