Guys. Do we remember how bad he was last year, after the initial games? There’s a reason they didn’t sign him.
Right now, we are seeing generational play from Quinn. That makes things look a lot better than they actually are. If they refuse to play Hronek in the position they traded for him to play, they need another very good dman to drive that second pairing instead, or they got no shot to win playoff rounds.
Obviously before they make a big move, they’ll have to split Hughes and Hronek up, to see what they actually have.
Have you seen Juulsen play? Cause if you did, you would be excited about BearBuddy if that's the workout video you're sending GMs you got to do better. Like a lot better.
It makes me sad for all the rest of you people on the internet that an Ethan Bear sighting in West Kelowna thread exists. I give the title pun a 2.5/10 star rating.
* a lot*But it could also mean alot!
The Canucks would have probably re-signed him if he didn't get injured at the World Championships. It's not like they didn't want him, they just didn't want to burn cap space on someone with an current injury. He can’t stick with a team. And he’s been on teams desparate for D as well as teams who are fairly stable with D.
Depth D man...will sign for league min. He is definitely better than Noah Juulsen or Friedman imo. Definitely not a top 4 D but is solid for bottom pairing and sometimes can fill in for injuries. The more depth dmen we have, the better. Canucks can them sign a Tanev on TDL or Zadorov.Wtf kinda RHD issues does bear solve? 4th pair? He was bad in Edmonton, irrelevant in Carolina, yet he's supposed to make the Canucks because... reasons?
Yeah I rather have Bear over Juulsen a million times over lol. Bear would sign a league min one year contract to see how he can play and earn his next contract. Don't think any team will sign Bear to a multi-year deal for now.Have you seen Juulsen play? Cause if you did, you would be excited about Bear
