If you really want to compare Granlund to a high paid Canuck then Eriksson is your guy. $6M for 5.5 more seasons and he's on pace for 33 points. What an abomination of a contract.
About the only silver lining is that Benning wasn't able to sign Lucic for 6-7 years in addition to Eriksson. The guy is on pace for 23 ES points while playing mostly with McDavid. I can't imagine what he'd be putting up on the Canucks.
