If this continues, absolutely. They look dreadful. But they’ll improve when they get some guys back and start to gel.

Why does it feel like the Griffins start every season like complete garbage, only to turn it up and become a powerhouse in the second half? Once some combination of Sulak/Hicketts/Hronek is sent back down they should get going. That D is not very nice to look at currently.

I don't think the Q is in the cards at all this year. Also did Halifax fill his European spot already anyway? With Halifax hosting the Memorial Cup I would be surprised if they didn't make a move already to fill his spot.

Zadina is going to learn at the AHL level. I am not sure how good Grand Rapids is going to be. They have some things to work on for sure. Zadina is also a part of that equation, he is supposed to be a front-line player at this level from day 1 and people can talk about him not getting a lot of help sure that is true, but he hasn't been impactful either. Hopefully they regroup and play a lot better at home in the next one.

He needs to step it up. Hopefully once he gets his first goal that will open the floodgates. Seems like the team is struggling with a lot new players and the new coach to click, hopefully that’s just an early season thing.

That top 4 on defense is pretty damn ugly.

Nice to see him score a couple goals, but let’s be real, he wasn’t very noticeable again. Nice first goal, I’ll give him credit, second goal was being in the right spot but he was lucky on that one. Smith is a player I thought looked real good for a 3rd game pro. He makes mistakes, but they’re ones he will correct as he gets used to the style of play.

Highest potential for Smith 3rd line , but last year I was thinking he will never makes NHl.Madonna need some time to develop his physicality, he will be better
