The Rangers got two goals to get to 2:3 on the strength of double-shifting first Lafreniere and then Panarin. Laviolette thought it was enough for the momentum shift. How long would it even be sustainable? We shuffled the lines around in the second and looked better, and then we kind of just went back to what we had and got worse again. That was weird.
Anyway I started writing a paragraph about removing Bonino but at least until Kakko is back to provide some options - there’s very little that Laviolette could do at this point. Need patience and hopefully the team and goalies could get back to playing more responsible.
