Have to check on some but noted that impressive freshman James Schuldt of St.Cloud St. is an invitee..

Also both Starrett brothers are there ...besides big Beau the other 6"5 brother a very good goalie from Air Force is there!

Jack Burgart had a stellar year in net last season for Weyburm of the SHL.
Another big 6"5 goalie. ..

Anyone on there interesting that the Hawks didn't draft?

Neal Pionk, freshman dman from Minnesota-Duluth, played top pairing on an NCAA tournament team last year. Pretty polished, two-way player, will be a candidate for a max ELC as early as next year. Will be their #1 dman this year after Andy Welinski graduated and signed with Anaheim. Pionk is a substantially better player than Jimmy Schuldt, who's stats were very inflated due to being on a senior-laden, high scoring team with a ridiculously good powerplay.

James Sanchez had some hype going into the draft as a potential shutdown forward and was a popular sleeper pick. Considering he's from Northbrook, its a bit surprising the Hawks didn't pick him up in the late rounds. Daniil Miromanov was considered a prospective late round pick by a few sources.

LaCouvee was invited last year.

I like how they put nearly everyone I've heard of together. That was nice of them.

I'm guessing it is for evaluation purposes. They probably want the signed prospects with a shot at making the team this year to go against each other. Tough to evaluate when Nick Schmaltz is going against some 18 year old 6th rounder with little or no chance at ever playing in the AHL.

I do not think I saw that we signed Martin Ljungh the 25 year old forward of Djurgardins of the SHL...Maybe he us here on a tryout for a contract? Elite Prospects says he is a speedy forward who can okay anywhere I the lineup ...both as a pp and/or pk guy...hard worker too..interesting. ..Maybe he us ready to challenge for a role if signed? Another one of Stan'5'9 gang of good player's. ....but unless he plays C and is good at faceoffs I guess we fo not have our cheaper Kruger Rd placement

Team C is loaded. Interested in team A. Curious to see how Bondra and Knott will perform. Obviously also curious to see DeBrincat in action.

is there a reason team C never scrimmages?

That was the case last year and maybe prior before, Team C as noticeable by that roster is guys that are much further along and more likely guys who will be competing for an NHL spot or at least AHL settlers, it's much older in general so they choose to keep them separate and let the young prospects scrimmage.

Those lists show just how awful the G pipeline is for organization ,, Yikes

Haha. Do you know anything about any of the goalies listed? Some of them are pretty solid.

I am interested to see how Hildebrand does. If he was 6'2" he would have been very sought after.

Crawford has gotten better every year he's played for the Blackhawks.

By the time his numbers decline, Keith will be on the back side of his career and the team will be ready for a rebuild.

Goalie depth is literally the last thing this organization needs to worry about.

Team is mostly guys who are pros already in tge AHL or in Europe for several seasons(Kempny) or draft picks as yet not signed but who have been to our prospect summer camps several times before (like this is the 4th camp for Hayden who still wants to finish his Senior year at Yale)..So these are the more experienced prospects except for additions non goal like Peeters just drafted...because they have a lot of goalies in this camp.

AND as to the comment by a posters above about our Org goalies being weak (in depth I presume) perhaps tge added emphasis to find and track more young goalies is evident here by both the number of goalies and the calibre of some of them...AS I said Shane Starrett emerged as a goalie star for Air Force I this his freshman year this past season and may in fact be a better pro prospect than his younger brother Beau who we drafted and who is an equally Big 6'5 kid but who plays C....and I already posted on another big 6'5 goalie in Jacke Burgart who had a stellar year for Weyburm in the SHL and who I believe is headed for the NCAA this season...It is good in my opinion to start developing relationships with these goalies to help them improve and when they are ready to leave their college programs and turn pro maybe we get a leg up in signing them as free agents.

IN MY opinion we ought to worry about our goalie pipeline for several reasons..you cannot have too little depth in tge development pipeline because:

1.How do you know we will nit dump CC next season to save cap room?Given our situation we may have to go with cheaper goalie alternatives than tge $6 million hit we take each year with CC...In that case we do need depth to contest the position to ensure it is well manned with the best we can afford for the price we can afford to pay..You need lots of depth .
It gives Stan options.

2. It is not good for the psyche and confidence of our Rockford team in the AHL if we give then little talent in net...hard to win AHL championship if our goalies are not very good or meh..You need a depth of really go is goalies to help win the AHL which would boost the confidence of our prospects developing g there.Sp again we need depth of goalie talent even for just this issue.

3.Some years may be buyers' market for goalies as trade bait ...but on other years there might be much greater need for goalies by other teams.i those times depth of goalie assets can help you trade fir other needs or to move up in tge draft for better futures you would like to acquire

For these 3 reasons I strongly disagree that we should not worry about our goalie pipeline and have it as the last thing we should focus on...Stan did draft a goalie relatively early (Peeters in the 3rd round tjis time) but if he can start a relationship with some good young prospect goalies who may be a few years developing in college before they decide to go pro then maybe these camps give us the 8n sidetrack to sign them as free agents when that time comes.

The roster posted above lists goalie Brandon McGovern who was a freshman at Maine last season ..I believe this is actually ROBERT MCGOVERN as he is shown on Elite Prospects and in Internet stories about the Maine goalie..but unless he 7ses 2 first makes or legally changed his first name then I think there was a mistake in showing him as Brandon McGovern..perhaps someone I the know can clear thus up...

ANYWAY ...he posted a .905 sae% at Maine which was not a great powerhouse team so that is pretty decent by a freshman for a team not of the highest status in its league. . He is another huge goalie at 6'4 and 239nlbs (or more? ₩...perhapsnourvsvputs saw something but itnusbobviousvthey are going to want him to shed a few pounds which should really improve his agilility)..
