That not Herzog things, he didn't jump, raise his elbow or targeted the head of a vulnerable player. No comparison with Herzog's hit.

Let's consider that payback for Errhoff's dive on Plüss in 2010. :D

even it the execution of the check itself was clean that's a bit borderline too, the german player seems concussed and strictly to the rules there is no check to the head allowed whatsoever even if Malgin doesn't jump or anything but primary point of contact was the head.

let's hope they bring it to OT and get that point to grab 1st place, ovoiously a win would be appreciated but it's the germans not exactly our favourite opponent result wise

No disrespect but if Germany takes a point they are the number two in their group which means Finland should lose against Czechs to face Germany.

Correct, Switzerland is 1st and Germany 2nd, whoever wins.

And phew.... that was more stressful than necessary. But Switzerland was the better team in the 3rd period and deserved the result they were looking for.
