I like your sense of humor.Geogiev is better than Shesterkin. (you will see)

and Ben Scrivens pitched a 59 save shut out against prime San Jose sharks and look where his career went. I love how one game erases the past 2 seasons.
Kind of like David Ayres?he was locked in tonight. pitches a shutout when his team was outshot 44-18. he won the game for them against a very good team.
He does have a bit of the potential. He's a good goalie who could carve out a nice #1A/B career
I think he becomes an Oiler.
Nothing like David Ayres. He faced just 10 shots and let in 2 goals. His win was a combination of the team in front of him locking it down and the opposition trying too many fancy passing plays.Kind of like David Ayres?
Vegas needs to move Brossoit if they're trading for a goalie to begin with. So I wouldn't be surprised to see something like a 3rd+ Brossoit for Georgiev.
this^.Georgiev just can't be a backup. First time this season he basically gets deployed like a starter (due to back-to-back against two really strong teams) and he plays out of his mind.
all it will take is best offer, market price, no more, no less. Hit me w/your best shot Pat Benatar.Come to Ottawa
If Oil add and retain max on cap hit for next yr, we can go there, tho obv we prefer an offer that does not require this. We can retain our end and swap other pieces to make cap work now/this yr.I doubt the Rangers are willing to take Smith, which would need to happen.
Agree, but if we can flip after the fact, may not be a deal breaker. The problem with Brossoit is he's likely too expensive for us to ice as the back-up next season. We really need a sub $1m backup due to the cap issues unless Drury gets really creative. Value would be fine though.
Yeah, Smith is a non-starter. We'd take Koskinen though.I doubt the Rangers are willing to take Smith, which would need to happen.
Would take herpes and a 6th back for this guy
that lack of playing time for some = inconsistency should not be a shocker.he is a really frustrating player. he struggles horribly when he gets inconsistent starts but he seems like a goalie that plays better with more PT. there are some goalies that just struggle with less work. that being said it is incredibly difficult to get a team to want to give you a run of games to establish yourself if you struggle in spot duty, but he has made this situation himself.
To be fair, its been documented that geogiev has been an ahole and doesnt get along with thsir starg goalie shesterkin and has whined about not getting playing time. With how shesterkin has plaged, its not surlrising theyd hate the guy bot getting along with him.its been a long time since ive seen a fanbase so constantly and openly rip on and hate a player like the rangers do georgiev.
its constant, on any social media platform, booing him, his IG posts are jammed with weird nerds going after the guy
Fanbase looks very pathetic on this one, the guy is leaving anyway, get over it
NYR can even throw in 50% salary retention as a bonus.unprotected 1st pls
That's far from the whole story with DeAngelo, he has been in disciplinary trouble before in basically every team he had played for so far, we'll see if he can keep his head cool in Carolina. There were other incidents with DeAngelo in New York, the altercation with Georgiev was just the final straw after the last warning coming from the GM.To be fair, its been documented that geogiev has been an ahole and doesnt get along with thsir starg goalie shesterkin and has whined about not getting playing time. Also, they bought out tony deangelo a very productive defenseman becayse of an aktercation he had where gerogiev punched tony deangelo after deangelo ripped his play. Deangelo may be a jerk, but he was a productive player they shipped off/flat bought out because of georgiev.
Georgiev is a malcontent. If i was ranger fan, id hate him too.
no, it's the other guy they got.Now that he wasn’t moved, he’s the best goalie in the league, right Rags fans?
It's not as sexy as signing a goalie out of a Euro league, then trying, and failing, to pass him through waivers, but we try.You know he's a good goalie when the team is actively trying to him...in a playoff race.
