WOODBURN, Ore. -- Former NFL player Stanley Wilson II was arrested again Saturday afternoon after an attempted break-in.

Police received a call about 2:09 p.m. Saturday from a homeowner in Woodburn who said Wilson was outside the person's residence in the 2000 block of Citadel Street.

The caller said Wilson drove up to the home and approached the homeowners in the garage of the home. Wilson was fully clothed but acting strange so the homeowner closed the garage door and called police. Wilson then unsuccessfully tried to enter the residence through the front and back doors, police said.

When the police arrived, Wilson came out of a backyard shed and was completely naked. Police took him into custody without incident. He is being held at the Marion County Jail and faces several charges related to this incident.

Last June, Wilson was shot by a homeowner for a similar incident in Portland, and in January of this year, he was arrested after being found naked outside a Portland home.

Wilson is a former cornerback for the Detroit Lions and also played college football at Stanford. His father is former Bengals running back Stanley Wilson Sr.

Looking on his wikipedia page, there's a history of methamphetamine abuse, and his dad is Stanley Wilson (Bengals RB, SB Super Bowl XXIII), however his drug of choice was cocaine.

from cbsssports.com:

Bears cornerback Deiondre Hall was tasered for resisting arrest and faces three misdemeanor charges after an alleged fight outside a college bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa, early Sunday morning, according to multiple reports.

Packers cornerback Makinton Darleant, a teammate of Hall’s at Northern Iowa, was also involved in the alleged incident, which took place outside an 18-and-over bar called Sharky’s Fun House.

Jeff Harrenstein, a captain with the Cedar Falls Police Department, told the Chicago Tribune that Hall was tasered by officers for resisting arrest, resisting having handcuffs placed on him and refusing to get into a squad car.

According to the police complaint pulled by the Chicago Sun-Times:

Cedar Falls (Iowa) police officers arrived at Sharky’s Funhouse, an 18-and-over bar, and found Hall “flailing his arms and yelling profanity at bar staff and patrons.†When he was removed by an officer, he refused to answer questions, yelled at officers and spat in their faces.

Hall resisted as he was being placed in handcuffs, according to the report, and refused to get in the backseat of the squad car. A female officer Tasered Hall’s left leg to get him to cooperate.

Hall, a fourth-round pick of the Bears last year, played in eight games as a rookie and made one interception before injuring his ankle. He underwent surgery in January.

According to the Tribune, Hall faces charges of public intoxication, interference and disorderly conduct by fighting. He was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail at about 1 a.m. Sunday and posted bond at 5 a.m. Darleant was charged with misdemeanor interference.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19014691/trevone-boykin-seattle-seahawks-arrested-car-accident

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested early Monday in Dallas on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and public intoxication after a car in which he was a passenger struck pedestrians and then a night club, injuring eight people -- and sending seven to local hospitals.

According to police, at 2:10 a.m. local time, Shabrika Bailey, 25, backed up at a high rate of speed, striking pedestrians on a sidewalk and then the side of Side Bar in Dallas. The impact of the car with the building caused bottles of alcohol and an ice cooler to fall inside Side Bar, hitting and injuring the bartender.

Boykin, 23, was being held on $500 bond at the Dallas County Jail. He is currently on probation stemming from an incident in 2015, when he was TCU's starting quarterback.

If i recall right, Irvin has also been the target of fake accusations twice before. Both of which were proven false in court.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's another lie, though i'll wait for the full story for further judgement.

^ Only the first one was. It's in the Deadspin article.

Based on what Irvin's lawyer says in the above linked article. Of course, the truth is usually somewhere in the middle.

So he said, she said. I would imagine this is one time where we'd be able to pretty easily tell who's lying based on what the text messages actually said as well as what the results of the rape kit and toxicology report were.

Indications are that the Hawks won't cut him, but are looking into getting a veteran backup QB.

junior-galette-minicamp-660-350.jpg

from espn.com:

Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette is facing more legal trouble after being arrested on Friday night during a spring break festival in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Galette was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to comply after getting into a fight and running away at MGM Park, where a concert was being held as part of Biloxi's annual Black Beach Weekend, according to the Biloxi Police Department. He was released after posting a $500 bond.

"We are aware of the incident. We are gathering information and will refrain from making any further comment," Redskins senior vice president Tony Wyllie said in a statement.

Galette, 29, has spent the past two seasons with the Redskins but has yet to play a down with them after tearing each of his Achilles tendons the past two summers. He signed a third straight one-year contract with the team in February as he tries to get his career back on track.
