Seeing a lot of people criticize the Caps for letting Trotz go, on other forums. Honestly if Trotz was still here how long until people would call for him to be fired? Yes, losing Trotz also led to losing Lambert and Korn but I think the coaches are still competent. Trotz was literally eviscerated by the fanbase for not playing young talent.
