Disagree. Pekka gives up more goals than most from defensemen because he doesn't track well, never has.

Also, he's terrible at covering a puck in front of him.

Right now, he's good at being big, that's about it.

Pekka's clearly not his Vezina worthy old self, but has he really been the problem?

I'm not saying he's been great, he hasn't been a sieve, the .918 sv % hasn't been a huge problem considering it's weighed down by the 2 bad losses vs SJ and Anaheim.

Admittedly, I haven't watched as many games as I usually do early in the season. Those weeknight 10pm games on the west coast are tough for a eastern time zone guy.

He's not the no.1 problem this team has, but he has been a problem. He's been letting in some softies pretty much nightly, or at least every game I've seen so far. His time as starter is looking like it's coming to an end soon, which is pretty sad.
