To be fair the difference between 7 and 5 in the draft lottery itself is astronomical for potentially moving back. At 5 you have a 44% chance of moving back to 6. Getting 5 means 7 is the lowest you can pick. 7 means you can pick 9th and miss the entire top end talent portion of this draft. There's about four very good forwards so picking 5th is very important.
