Vancouver is the team that started this downfall in my opinion with that 6-0 beat down on February 11th. Ever since then it's gone downhill. Maybe they can start our win streak too?

I will guess I am in the majority here, and I am almost hoping they lose to increase their draft standing, although, like last year, and maybe even more so, there are 14 teams below the Stars right now, and only a few could even reasonably be expected to be caught.

Caught in the worst position again, where 16 of 31 teams make the PO, and 15 are in the draft lottery, and we are about the best of the worst. So, hey, I guess we may as well win, but would prefer to do it with the young guys like Honka, Dickenson, maybe a few call ups just to get them some experience, and maybe save a vet from injury. I am sure the NHL has some kind of rule about how many vets you need to dress, but we should bump up against their minimum.

Stars are like Cowboys of most years. Not short on talent, but just can' get them all to play well at the same time. One of them makes a mistake, i.e., a holding penalty or something to kill momentum and give up points somehow.
