He’s a 23 year old returning from his father dying and while they haven’t been great defensively they’ve been better than this is recent games. I expected more.

It had issues last year and then they flipped the switch there. I wouldn’t be surprised if they thought it could happen again but they’ve been atrocious a lot this season.

I understand, I'm just saying it was silly to expect a bad defensive team to be anything but bad.

And I don't even think any switch was flipped. We won purely on elite goaltending and clutch scoring from our best offensive players. Covered up a whole lot of bad that still plagues this team now.
