It's been fun being a Bruin's fan since Butch.

...and our GM isn't too shabby either.

They didn't have Matthews and Boston didn't have Marchand

There is not a single player in the Bs rotation at this point who is not contributing in some way. No dead wood right now. This is the way teams win Cups. This game was a clinic. Score should have been even uglier.

Competition up and down the lineup.

Tuukka Rask made 23 stops and posted a point for a career-best 20th straight game, leading the surging Boston Bruins past the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 on Saturday night.

David Pastrnak and Torey Krug each scored on a power play in the second period and Patrice Bergeron added his team-leading 22nd goal for Boston. Tim Schaller had an empty-netter as the Bruins collected at least a point for the 20th time in 21 games, moving four points ahead of Toronto for second in the Atlantic Division.

Rask hasn't lost in regulation since Nov. 26. He improved to 18-0-2 in his last 20 starts, and had an assist on Schaller's score.

Awesome to see Rask playing his best. Somewhat like Spooner, they have all the talent in the world, they just have to capitalize.

Great to see the little indications that the Bruins are providing him the trust he needs to mentally play his best and it translates physically.

That paddle down play in the 3rd. It was strong and said I can count on my D. That's really everything with Rask. We've seen the worst of times where he's mentally freaking out and physically bounding around like superman on speed. Trying to play and think for himself and others.

Now we see the mentally calm and comfortable Rask...not a hint of freak out...nothing is the end of the world...one play at a time...and then the next. Staying in his lane.

The best Rask. And there was never any doubt, the best Rask is pretty darn good.
