Then start a thread on the main forum. This isn't the place for that.I'm only here to complain about the horrid reffing.
You guys most def deserved to win the game, but good game regardless. Seriously what'd you guys do to Winnik? He looks amazing out there! Way better than he looked on the Avs and with us. Anyways good luck with the rest of your games you guys are a dangerous team this season.
lol, It is just that you'll might want to notice that with Boyle out at this point we aren't just missing Boyle but we are practically missing all of our offensive defense men.
Firs time this season 2nd line actually played more minutes than 3d line. And i really think that Boner line had their best game so far this season. They had some very good shifts.
Well the rage is gone as I remember that we still got a point and we made one of the best team's in the league look human.
doesnt count they were missing players due to the uncommon occurrence of injuries in the nhl.
I thought Bonino looked really good, just not for the role he currently has.
That's great man, I really don't know what else to say to that post. Maybe it's different for you this year, maybe it's not. I won't buy into Sharks success until they show more when games really count. Marleau looked same as he always has to me tonight. Let Thornton do everything and a little dangerous in space. I don't know. I don't even think that line dominated at all tonight. They were only ones being dangerous, but aside from that disasterous play our defense that lead to the first goal, they were pretty much kept in check. Our top line was more effective Imo. For whatever reason Perry can't bury his chances this year.
Agreed
I would say give the team a look when we aren't playing the Ducks.
We always match up terribly against your team. No matter how good we look I could never predict a playoff series with your team not going to 7 games.
Ducks possess a tough, strong, aggrovating first line. When matched up against a more finesse or just smaller 1st line Marleau has actually looked a bit tough to match up with this year I know crazy lol
Anyway here's a few of my thoughts:
Getzlaf was great again, as he has been all season.
Entire third line was awesome as well. Cogliano is a different player this year. Just please don't stick him with Palmieri and Bonino again.
Ryan was strong. Not great, but better than he's been.
Teemu was IMO the worst player on the ice for us.
Palmieri is the only other player that I thought struggled. Almost like he's gotten comfortable or something.
Rakkel is solid but still think he should go back down.
Etem was impressive. Would like to see he or Palmieri on top line instead of Beleskey.
Beleskey was pretty good. He still limits that top line though. Glad he scored, but it was actually a poor shot IMO.
Perry and Hiller blew this game for us. Both could have won it for us.
This is the 3rd Sharks game I've watched and my mind hasn't changed. Thornton is still a beast (during regular season anyway) and most of Marleau's success comes from his hard work. As I said he's dangerous in space and has a good shot, but that's how he's always been.
Im actually less impressed with this sharks team, then i have been in a while. I dont think they are built to beat the teams they are going to have to play to get to the cup. Blues Kings would be the favorites even with the slow start, the kings just need to get in and they are made for a playoff series, id even put the ducks in that category we may be borderline team but if we make it in were a tough 1st matchup. We will see what happens come playoff time. I am not a big "this is our year kinda guy" but this is the first time I have been excited for a Sharks team in quite a long time. For whatever reason feels like things are different this year... Most likely due to the coaching staff changes over the off-season.
We do need to work on how we deal with these more grinding games though. Hopefully, our coaching staff (much improved) adjust and we see solid games against the Blues and our next game against the Ducks.
