Can't remember the last time when the Bruins bulldozed the Habs like that. Usually it's been going the other way around in recent years. They had a pretty depleted lineup with all the injuries, but still. It could've been 7-0 with a little more puck luck.

I wonder if there would've been some more chippiness if Quaider hadn't been playing tonight?

Certainly seems like the habs are less inclined to start pushing and shoving whenever he's on the ice!

I know DKH is a big believer in hockey being more fun when the Habs and B’s are both good.

While that may be true in the long run, for the short term, I’m tremendously enjoying watching the Habs absolutely suck!

Grz was hit pretty hard ( which ended up a penalty ) with McQuaid on the ice. Pasta got run at on the PP but got right back up. Bergeron got hit late on an offside call.

Hits, both good and bad happen, regardless of who's on the ice.

Bergevin may very well be the Bs MVP as far as this rivalry is concerned this season and probably in the foreseeable future. Montreal is an absolute mess, with very little help on the way up.

4-1 is not even close to what the score should have been. Bs simply dominated the game. Hopefully the Bs lay another beatdown on them soon.

It's more fun to watch two great teams battling it out, even if it means your team has a bigger chance of losing...

But losing to a mediocre team by way of numerous BS penalty calls and undeserved powerplays would be worse. I'll take these past few games the B's have won against Montreal any day of the week. It'd only have been better if McQuaid had gotten to lay somebody out! But....that's probably not happening anytime soon
