Geoff Sanderson's interview on TSN in the 1st intermish was actually great.

Geoff Sanderson was the greatest contract year player in NHL history. Every tow or three seasons, he'd be up for a contract, would score a bunch, get a nice raise, and then go back to being average.

That would be the move, but it's not Nill's style. What forward from the AHL would play on the 2nd line? Blumel? Bourque who has not been good? Barber no matter his numbers in Texas is not NHL quality. You just know it will be a depth player.

Part of the problem is the Stars are so cap strapped Nill isn't going to carry an extra forward just to give a kid a tryout.
