Let's try out a little pregame thread this time, we can convert it into a GDT if needed.

Dallas is bringing the dads to Las Vegas. I'm kind of wondering whether that's a good thing for us or a bad thing for us.

If we lose it's obvious pregame threads are bad juju for the team lol.

Hopefully it's a good thing they're bringing their dads, they can bail them out after the house beats them tomorrow. Hopefully Carrier and Perron, aren't out too long...

Oh crap, is there a pattern of pregame threads and losses that I missed?

I first saw this thread and thought it was a GDT. Panicked that today was Tuesday, and I'd had another one of those damn alien abduction/missing time episodes!

I think these Dad's Trips that teams do are the very coolest thing. No doubt there have been sacrifices made along the way in order to get their sons to playing hockey at this level, and it's so right to see the dads get a little reward.

Hmmm...what about the moms ?

We've converted pregames to GDTs before. Might have been preseason, though.
Yeah pretty sure it was, I think they've all been standard GDTs for the regular season... I could be mistaken though, but this is the first time I recall seeing a pre game thread during the regular season.

I might be wrong, I'm doubting myself more now that you're all doubting it.

In fact, I'd have sworn that we did the trifecta of pre-GDT-post at least once too. Perhaps it was just me thinking it though, or preseason.

I figure pregames are good anyway.

A re-match of the Neal vs. Seguin feud from Game 1 in Dallas.

I recall vividly how pissed off Tyler was after James hit him early in the game here:

Neal went on to score 2 goals in our win then, so he's up 0-1 in the rivalry. But you bet Seguin won't have forgotten it. One of these two players will be a star of the game. Bank on it.

Neal has scored points in 7 of the last 10 games.
Seguin has scored points in 8 of his last 12 games including a hat trick last game.

Game on. (Er, it will be.)

Hard to believe Radulov second highest player (8 million), second only to Jamie Benn (13 million). Ben Bishop makes only 7 million.
