The Winnipeg Jets take on Andrew Copp, Ben Chiarot, and the rest of the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena at 6:00pm CDT. The Jets are coming off of an inspired 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues to reach .500 with a record of 3-3-0. The Red Wings ended up losing their last game 5-4 in a shootout against the Seattle Kraken but are still an impressive 5-1-1 to start the season. Can Kyle Connor cook up some “Wings” tonight? Since the “Gus Bus” scored last game, can Rasmus Kupari be next? Will Alex Iafallo's facial hair influence his linemates, or is there a visit to a hairstylist in their future...

After a battle royale on the weekend with mice in my house, I've decided to take some of your advice and find different ways to catch these little critters. I used to be an excellent mouser at my previous job, catching at least ten mice a night in the traps I set up. After a month of this, the boss finally decided that we had a mouse problem and hired an actual exterminator. Sadly, after that, my mousing days were over... After searching the internet, a few traps “caught” my attention...

Some traps aren't really that good...

But some can be quite ingenious...

Plus, the mice can have a little bit of fun as well...

Some are just plain wacky...

And some are just a bit cruel...

Who needs a trap when you can have one of these...

But sometimes, you get one that outsmarts you...

And then, sometimes, there's a happy ending...for the rodents...

Well, at least I've got a couple of ideas for the mice, so they better watch out...

Some players glory in their offence, some in the penalty kill,
Some in their new found wealth, some in their forchecking force,
Some in their post-game drip, a new-fangled snap back’d ill,
Some in their sticks and pucks, some in their coach/horse;
And every goal by Wolfboy hath its adjunct pleasure,
Wherein it crosses the line to add to the rest:
But these particulars are not the Wings measure;
All these Jets’ better in one general best.
Helly’s glove is better than high birth to me,
Richer than wealth, prouder than an HFboards roast,
Of more delight than sticks or pucks shot be;
And procuring a win, with Perfecto’s vision I boast:
Hopeful are we few in this alone, but if thou mayst shake
Let loose this win today and me most cheerful make.

Jets have struggled against Eastern Conference teams the last few seasons, regardless of if they are good or not. Let's see how this goes. Any update on Rick and Judy Bowness?
