I thought Hendricks played pretty well against Detroit.

I'd like to see Slepyshev or Pakman in for Khaira. I thought he struggled a bit on Saturday.

I think Drake is going to be a really solid player moving forward, but he could use a game in the pressbox too.

Hockey in march and I still care. Didn't happen in 10 years, I truly forgot how great that feeling is. Go Oil!

Huh?

His line had a pretty good game against Detroit....

Yeah, I agree.

Maybe I just think he could use a little break. It's tough going from the NCAA schedule to the NHL. I know he missed some time early in the season, but it's still a grind.

Hey, depth is a great problem to have! It's nice to have good players like Slepyshev, Pakman and Khaira have to work their way into the lineup.

Why so much love for Sleppy? I dont think hes that great.

comparing him to Pakarinen, Kassian, Khaira, Caggiula, Hendricks doesnt mean we love him.
The guy is fast and gritty. Ideal bottom 6 winger.

Good to finally have some depth in the team..

His line would have been good even if it was Pakarinen or Slepy playing the wing instead of Caggiula. Most of our bottom 6 wingers are interchangable aside from maybe Pitlick.

Slepyshev over Hendricks fairly easily. He doesn't cost us goals or puts us short handed like Hendricks does. I understand Hendricks is a veteran on the team but boy does he get sloppy when we have momentum going our way.

One of Pak or Slep should be in. Drake needs to start producing; hasn't had a point since January. No goals on his last 27 shots.

Hendricks needs to come out of the lineup. He's not nearly as effective on the forecheck as he use to be.

Slepy - Testi - JJ pls

Well I'm glad we're arguing about the bottom 6 instead of trying to figure out how the **** we were going to get 6 NHL defencemen just a few years ago.

If Slepyshev is coming into the lineup, it probably won't be Hendricks he's coming in for.

Hendricks SH TOI - 56:52
Slepyshev SH TOI - 00:22

McLellan uses Hendricks as one of his tried and true PK specialists.

The only way I can see Hendricks coming out of the lineup, is if Pouliot comes back in.

I love the Drake but I'd put him down in the AHL if I can figure out how to spin it.

rather have Slepy and Pou for the speed, size and experience.

So what happens if Pou is ready to play tomorrow?

I hope if Pou comes in that he can regain his confidence back.. Looking back now, I know we harped on him pretty good during the beginning of the year for his offensive zone penalties, but I think they crushed his confidence pretty good this season. Seemed like for the first 10 games if he did anything in the offensive zone that he would get called for it, now he has no confidence there since.

Would be great to be 4 points up on the Flames with even games played.

They should be coming down to earth here soon now that they start to play tougher teams.

NYI battling for the playoff lives though so tomorrow could be a tough game.

So many glorious chances where he's flat out missed the net. It's his missed shots that are most damning.
