I've pretty much refused to even pretend Shattenkirk would sign with us for the longest time. Rangers just made too much sense.

He's definitely a guy I would like to see the Devils get, can play all three forward positions, and up and down the line-up.

Thank god we bought out DSP. He's not an NHL caliber player. Flat out awful this year. Cammy can still be serviceable on the right team, but I understand Shero feels this team isn't the right situation. Hopefully we add some forwards though.

That would be awesome. We would have our third line center a can slide McLeod in as a winger for a year if he make the team or Herchier for that matter. Although, I here the Rangers are looking at Bonino.

Don't think this means a trade is imminent, more of a culture change/trimming the fat kind of move.
