I'm familiar with 2007 Cammalleri; how is 2017 Cammy?

Think he'll be a good fit alongside Kopi/Carter?

Ej Hradek really cutting to the meat of the matter: "It's about the term and the dollars".

What a blowhard.

Ryan Murphy signs a no-risk contract with Minnesota. Why wouldn't we?

Also I liked Beau Bennett, but if he's disposable for guys like Blake Coleman, that's a big mistake.

He was one of the worst players on the team last year. He can still pass, that's about it unless he recovers or something.

Shero said in his exit interview that there were guys that didn't compete and they wouldn't be back.

Cammalleri and Bennett were a few names speculated, along with Henrique.

I don't see why some people are up in arms.

There are some players where their advanced stats don't show how much they contribute and players that overemphasize how much they do. I think Beau is the latter IMO and I'm pretty sure I've said as much during the season.

Because it is a horrible decision. Look at everyone's stats with and without him:

We are a team that struggles to leave our own zone and transition into our opponents. We are horrible at it, worst in the league. Bennett was arguably our 2nd best forward at doing that behind Hall. He was easy to play with and didn't struggle with any type of forward. To waste an asset on him, fail to give him a QO, and let him walk for nothing shows the team doesn't care about analytics at all. And to me, that's very disappointing.

I think it's a very very bad move considering our situation. I know I'll be labeled as a "hater" and "complainer", but this will hurt us. I'm ripping Shero here.

Coaching staff tried to toughen up Bennett. This was their call I assume.

I think letting Bennett walk for nothing was a mistake, but I'll withhold final judgment until we see what the right side of the lineup looks like.

I never would have assumed BB was one of the malcontents but who knows, it is interesting they gave up on him after a year when they threw away a third-rounder to get him.

And yeah if he was such a difference maker he'd have gotten more than 650k.
