You can't just cherry pick line-mates all the time for players. At some point he's going to have to just man up and start playing like he wants an NHL job. Yeah his minutes were an issue but hey not everyone can get Ovechkin treatment and play half the game. He's not an All-Star so naturally his minutes are going to be monitored, what he does with those minutes is up to him. He doesn't produce he'll find himself out of here. No excuses anymore. Gotta stop babying some of these guys.

I Thought he played well with Panik and Carrick

^ yes 3rd line but future 4th line player at best and would be great if they were a useable 4th line
