I just want to say I appreciate this guy. Dude has been the best Swan song consummate pro since Stajan IMO. I quite like having him around.

I hope his injuries concerns have been getting better.

I think they will tbh. You gonna find another guy who loves the city and is content playing a handful of games a year and not bitching about it and being a solid teammate?

And when he does play he doesn’t cost the team at all.

Ik @JPeeper hates the guy, but he's not a bad #6-7 option to have. If he wants to stay in YYC for the rest of his career I wouldn't mind.

Stone is fine as a #6-7 like you say, I get annoyed when he gets top 4 minutes.

Stone has straight up said he loves Calgary. He played his juniors here (as Captain of the Hitmen to finish it), and has moved his whole family here. The fact that he came here to train in the off-season pretty much since he got drafted as well, shows how much he loves this city too.
