He's vanilla. Very few positives. Very few negatives. That's not a bad thing for a rookie defenseman. He just exists.

Zaitsev has been pretty decent. I imagine he'll go to the KHL but he could likely hang around the NHL on a cheap $1-$1.5 million deal if he wanted to.
