I really don't think contenders should sign him. Yandle is the definition of a reckless player. If he has one of those nights he can lose you a playoff game.

Yup, no way Tampa signs him. They're much smarter than that.

Nutivaara and Gudas as well on D, think it will be Nutivaara, only has 1 yr left, still relatively young/cheap, so if SEA isn't in playoff race, they recoup assets at deadline or if they're in the playoff race, maybe re-sign him if he has a good year.

Good lord, people! Tampa is absolutely loaded on LD with Hedman, McDonagh and Sergachev (all three of which look like they'll be protected along with Cernak in a 4-4-1 list). They have absolutely NO need for an LD PP specialist that declined horribly on the PP this season, put his stupid ironman streak above playing any sort of defense AND was healthy scratched in the playoffs.

Even if, heaven forbid, McD was exposed and taken by Seattle, Yandle wouldn't be CLOSE to being any sort of replacement.

Yes. And it got worse as the season went along, plus he began sucking even on the PP which was his bread and butter. Hence the healthy scratch for most of the playoff series.
